Background: Competed for the Knights at nearby Parkville High School for the Cross Country, Indoor Track and Field and Outdoor Track and Field squads…a six time MVP of her teams, including earning the honors as a senior on the cross country team in 2003…earned scholar athlete honors in 2003 as well for cross country…received the Marine Corp Athletic award in 2004, the Triple Threat Award in 2003 and 2004 and the Golden Knight in 2004…recorded her best time at the states last year in outdoor track with a 5:25.42 mile…a member of the National Honor Society, Math Honor Society and German Honor Society while earning honor roll accolades all four years.
