2003: Missed the early part of the season before taking to the course for the first time at the Lehigh Paul Short Run, opening his season with a 25:25.33 mark in the 8K run for 45th overall…quickly improved as the season went on, placing as the top Retriever at the Lafayette Invitational with a time of 26:02.47 to complete the five mile run with an eighth place finish as the Retrievers took sixth as a team…finished 23rd at the America East Championships held at the University at Albany with at time of 26:31.00 in the 8K run as the Retrievers captured a fourth place finish.
2002: Earned all-conference honors after covering the 8,000m course in a team-best 26:09.2 at the NEC Championships…finished as the second-best freshman and seventh overall at the meet…named NEC Rookie of the Week after placing 122th out of 105 runners with a time of 26:17.43 at the Lafayette Invitational…ran a 8K time of 27:14.49 at the LaSalle Invitational and 26:01.35 at the Lehigh Paul Short run…finished fourth in the Baltimore Metro Meet to begin his collegiate career with a 27:21.00 time in the 8K run…ran 26:10.59 at the Navy Invitational.
