2003: Competed in three meet in 2003 while struggling through injuries... crossed the line in the 8,000m run at the Navy Invitational in 27:58.04 for 35th overall... finished the Lehigh Paul Short Run in 27:12 and the Lafayette Invitational 8K run in 30:00.
2002: Took to the trail for the first time at the LaSalle Invitational, completing the 8,000m trek in 28:16.31...went on to run in the Lafayette Invitational with at time of 28:12 and wrapped up his season at the NEC Championships with an 8K time of 29:07.
2001: Open his collegiate career with a 28:43 8K time at the Metro Invitational... ran 8K times of 28:43 and 28:46 at the Navy Invitational and Mount St. Mary’s Invitational, respectively, before his breakout performance at the Maryland State Cross Country Championships, running a season best 26:59 as the Retrievers captured the team title... finished the season at the IC4A’s with a 30:12 8K run.
