2010: Finished second in the scoring five for the Retrievers in all six meets… Placed 44th at the America East Championships in a career-best 5K time of 19:06.47… Top finish was 10th in the season-opening Mount St. Mary’s Duals… Set a season-best 6K time of 22:52 at the Paul Short Invite.

 

2009: Placed third in the scoring five for the Retrievers in all seven meets… Placed 34th at the America East Championships in 20:03.50… Placed 19th at the UMES Invitational in a season-best 5K time of 19:21… Also set a career-best time in the 6K at the Paul Short Invite in 22:17… Placed 98th at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships… Named the team’s Unsung Hero at UMBC’s varsity awards banquet in May… Named to the America East Honor Roll.

 

2008: Finished in the scoring five in every meet for the Retrievers... Was second across the line in two meets, the Mount St. Mary’s Duals and the Navy Invitational… Best overall finish was 23rd at the Towson Invitational… Awarded Unsung Hero honor at UMBC Varsity Awards Banquet in May… Named to the America East Honor Roll.

 

Background: Ran for Long Reach High School in Columbia, Md… Named Athlete of the Year at Long Reach in 2008… Earned Cross Country MVP honors for the Lightning in 2005, 2006 and 2007… Named Track and Field Co-MVP for Long Reach in 2006, 2007 and 2008
