THREE RETRIEVERS EARN ALL NEC VOLLEYBALL HONORS

Three Retrievers were named to the All Northeast Conference Volleyball squad this afternoon by the league office. Senior middle hitter Jennifer Davis earned First Team recognition and sophomore middle hitter Jocelyn Teoh and freshman outside hitter Kristi Nall were Second Team picks.
Davis is averaging 2.68 kills this season and is hitting .344 from the floor. She also averages 0.51 blocks per game. Last week, Davis was named a First Team Verizon District II Academic All-American.
Teoh, the NEC Rookie of the Year last season, is averaging 2.80 kills and is hitting .366. She also averages 1.08 blocks and 2.53 digs per game.
Nall has improved dramatically as the season has progressed and has been the Retrievers top freshman this season. She averages 2.66 kills and has a .263 hitting percentage.
UMBC will host the NEC Volleyball Championships November 23-24.
