JENNIFER DAVIS NAMED TO FIRST TEAM 2002 VERIZON ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT II VOLLEYBALL TEAM

UMBC junior middle hitter Jennifer Davis was named to her second consecutive Verizon Academic All-District II Volleyball Team this past week. This year, however, Davis was named to the First Team after earning Second Team honors in 2001. The entire First and Second Team squad is made up of 12 student-athletes from ten schools within the district. Davis, who is maintaining a 3.93 grade point average in Informations Systems, is now on the ballot for the Verizon/CoSIDA Academic All-American Team, which is scheduled to be announced on Thursday, December 5.
