Bush Grabs Fourth America East Volleyball Rookie of the Week Honor

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.—Freshman Naomi Bush (Fruitport, Mich./Fruitport) has been named America East Volleyball Rookie of the Week for the fourth time this season, as announced by the conference Monday afternoon.
Bush led the Retrievers to a 3-0 win over Hartford on Friday night in UMBC's only match of the week. The freshman hit nine kills with no errors on 14 swings for an outstanding .643 hitting percentage, leading the conference for the week in the latter category. Bush also added two blocks and an assist, and improved her season average to 2.51 kills per set which ranks third for the Retrievers.
