BALTIMORE--The UMBC women's volleyball team will return 11 letterwinners and add five newcomers to make up the 16-player team in 2007.  Head coach Ian Blanchard will enter his third season at the helm of the women's team, while former University of California, San Diego standout Brianna Koche will assume assistant coaching responsibilities. 

The Retrievers will begin the 2007 season on August 31 at the La Salle Tournament in Philadelphia, Pa.
