JENNIFER DAVIS NAMED TO VERIZON ACADEMIC ALL-AMERICAN DISTRICT 2 VOLLEYBALL TEAM

UMBC sophomore middle blocker Jennifer Davis has been named a Second Team Verizon Academic All-American. Davis, an Informations Systems major, currently has a 3.93 gpa and has had three perfect 4.0 semesters. On the court, the Ontario, Canada native averages 2.64 digs and 2.22 kills per game. She has also come up with 31 blocks this season. Davis, who missed all of last season with a shoulder injury, recorded a career-high 27 digs against George Washington this past season.
