UMBC VOLLEYBALL’S JOCELYN TEOH NAMED TO ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM

Teoh finished the 2004 season with 20 double-doubles and led the team for the second-consecutive season in kills per game at 3.70 per game. Teoh record 407 total kills her senior year and concludes her career at UMBC with 1,288 career kills. Teoh, who averaged 3.11 digs per game in 2004, recorded 40 double-doubles in her four-year storied career as the outside hitter finish her collegiate career on five Retriever career top-10 charts.
Teoh was the only member of the all-conference team whose squad did not reach the conference tournament as Eleven of the 12 all-conference selections will be in action at the 2004 America East Volleyball Championship held at Albany’s University Gymnasium. No. 1 Albany plays No. 4 Binghamton at 5 p.m. Friday (November 19) in the first semifinal, while No. 2 Northeastern faces No. 3 Maine at 7 p.m. in the second semifinal. The winners advance to the America East Championship game on Saturday at 4 p.m. The winner of the America East Championship receives an automatic bid to the NCAA Volleyball Championship.
