Freshman middle hitter Jocelyn Teoh recorded a team-high 15 kills and added 14 digs and 6 block assists as UMBC defeated NEC rival Quinnipiac, 3-1, at the RAC Arena.UMBC (13-11, 6-1 NEC) hit .234 compared to just .140 for the Braves (812, 3-4 NEC).Senior Dana Cookson and SO Jennifer Davis each had 4 kills as UMBC took game one, 30-25. UMBC won by the same score in game two as FR Tauna Woolery recorded 4 kills and 6 digs. Quinnipiac took gave three, 30-26, behind the play of FR Heather Wollyung, who recorded 6 kills. The Retrievers put the match away in game four as Woolery added 4 more kills and Teoh had 4 block assists.Cookson and Davis each finished with 13 kills and Woolery added 11 and a match-high 23 digs.
