The Retrievers carried their momentum into the second game as Berman recorded six more kills on nine attacks while Christine Skala (
The story in game three was Retriever senior Julia Waclawiak (San Antonio, Texas/Ronald Regan) who served UMBC to seven-consecutive points (two service aces) as the Retrievers ran out ahead 7-1 in the game and never looked back, striking the final blow with a 30-16 game three victory. Skala ended the game with her seventh service ace of the evening.
For the game Berman recorded 17 kills on 24 attacks with two errors for a .625 hitting percentage. Gross recorded 37 assists.
