TEOH NAMED NEC VOLLEYBALL ROOKIE OF WEEK

UMBC freshman middle blocker Jocelyn Teoh (Puchong, Malaysia) was named the NEC Rookie of the Week after compiling great numbers in UMBC's two league wins over Wagner and FDU last week. Versus Wagner, she recorded 20 kills, 13 digs and hit .349, and she also posted 20 kills and hit .500 against FDU. Since joining the Retrievers in late September, Teoh is averaging 3.57 kills per game and is hitting .318.
