NEW HAMPSHIRE HANDS UMBC VOLLEYBALL 3-0 LOSS

    Durham, N.H. – The UMBC Retrievers (13-11, 2-4 AEC) fell to New Hampshire (14-10, 5-1) in three sets (30-20, 30-21, 30-23) in America East women’s volleyball action on Friday night.  The Retrievers were led by Jocelyn Teoh (Puchong, Malaysia/Bujit Sports Academy) who recorded a double-double with 17 kills and 13 digs.

     

    New Hampshire after taking the first set 30-20, cruised through the final two sets with 30-21 and 30-23 wins. 

     

    Megan Gross (Mont Clair, Va./Forest Park) recorded 29 assists and freshman Amy Starosta (Dresher, Pa./Upper Dublin) recorded four aces for UMBC.

     

    UMBC plays the fourth of their five game road swing when they travel to Maine to play the Black Bears on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 4 p.m
