2007: Saw the first action of her collegiate career after redshirting as a freshman… Played in 16 matches during her debut season for a total of 34 games… Finished the season ranked fourth on the team with 2.62 digs/gm… Tallied a total of 89 digs on the season and had three double-digit performances, including her season-high of 21 digs on Sept. 28 against Maine… Also tallied 15 digs the next match, against New Hampshire while adding three service aces and recorded 15 digs against Binghamton on Oct. 21… Tallied one kill each against Quinnipiac and Coppin State on Sept. 8 and 18.

 

2006:  Redshirted due to injury.

High School:  Played for Watkins Mill High School, where she lettered four years and captained her team as a senior… Earned Honorable Mention All-County in 2002, 2003 and 2005 by The Gazette Newspaper… An honor roll student who also partook in the Diplomats Club, Show Choir and SADD organization… Had shoulder surgery prior to her arrival at UMBC for a torn labrum. 

Personal:  The youngest of three children to Eillen and Tom Smith… Older siblings are Bridget and Brendan… Born April 3, 1988.
