2007: Set a new single-season record with 112 assisted blocks in 2007 and ranks second for total blocks in a single season with 119… Earned both the first, and last Rookie of the Week awards and was named to the All-Rookie team… Finished the season with a team-leading .294 hitting percentage and was third with 2.42 kills/gm, 1.12 blocks/gm, and 3.27 points/gm… Also ranked fourth in blocks/gm and seventh in hitting percentage in the conference rankings… Played in a total of 31 matches, starting 29 of them and a total of 106 games during the season, the most by any Retriever… Recorded a season-high 16 kills on two different occasions, against Providence on Sept. 7, where she also notched a season-high 19.0 points, and against Navy on Nov. 6… Also tallied her season-high .500 hitting percentage in three matches including Nov. 9 against Hartford where she tallied 12 kills on 18 attacks and also added one solo block and eight assisted blocks… Her season-high of 10 assisted blocks came against Towson on Sept. 14.

 

High School:  A four year varsity starter from Ursuline Academy in St. Louis, Missouri… Captained her team in 2005 and 2006 and was named Rookie of the Year in 2003… A Prepvolleyball.com Fab 50 Freshmen selection… Named Missouri All-Region Second-Team in 2005 and 2006, Missouri All-District in 2005, and M.W.A.A. All-Star in 2005… Competed with the Team St. Louis club volleyball team where she competed in Open Nationals for five years.

 

Personal:  One of three children to Greg and Becky Scheetz… Has a younger brother Greg (15) and an older sister Kelley (21)… Plans to major in history and become a teacher… Born January 13, 1989.
