High School: A three-time MVP at Torrey Pines H.S. of Del Mar, California in 2003, 2004, and 2006… Inducted into the San Diego Hall of Champions in 2006… Named to the 2006 Santa Barbara Tournament of Champions All-Tournament Team, 2006 Avocado League First-Team, 2006 All-California Interscholastic Federation First-Team, and 2006 San Diego All-Academic Team… Part of the 2005 Reno Volleyball Festival Champion, Vintage 17’s and a Union Tribune All-Academic Team selection in 2005… Was chosen to participate in the 2005 USA Girl’s Volleyball Development Camp… Named to Honor Roll all four years of high school… Also named to the Principal’s Honor Court in 2006.
Personal: One of two children to Russ and Sue Sande… Sister, Natalie (25) played volleyball at the University of San Francisco and San Diego State… Plans to major in media and communications and aspires to be a producer… Born on September 25, 1989.
