2006: Became an integral part of the Retriever lineup, ranking third in kills (216) and total attacks (662), and fourth in kills per game (2.60), points (243.5), and points per game (2.93)… Saw action in 30 of 31 matches, playing a total of 83 games… Also started six matches… Recorded a season-high 18 kills against Binghamton in the semi-finals of the America East Tournament… Also recorded three digs, four assisted blocks and a season-high 20 points in that match.
2005: Ranked second on the team with 2.79 kills per game (kpg), hitting .182 with 204 total kills… Played in 25 matches with seven starts… Recorded a career single-match high with 28 kills against Fairfield, hitting .352 in the match… Named to the Rutgers’ Embassy Suites Classic All-Tournament team after posting 4.33 kpg and 4.71 points per game at the tournament… Tallied 24 kills against Coppin State… Struggled in conference with a 1.74 kpg average and a 0.68 hitting percentage… Tallied nine double-digit kill performances on the year… Averaged 0.73 digs per game, 0.23 service aces per game and 0.26 blocks per game.
2004: Redshirted her freshman year with an ACL injury to her knee.
High School: A member of three state championship teams at Montgomery Bishop High School, winning two California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) and state championships in volleyball and one in women’s basketball… Her first volleyball title came in 2002 and followed that up as she ended her senior year, winning the state title in 2003 with a 25-9 overall record… Earned team’s Most Inspirational Award in 2002… Her basketball team won the CIF and state championships in the 2002-03 season… Received the Black and Gold Award given to a player that inspires and represents the school well for the 2002-03 basketball season… Earned department awards in Algebra I and II and for Calculus.
Personal: The only child of Ralph and Donna Anderson… Born on July 29, 1986... Majoring in information systems.
