2005: Played in 19 matches with four starts…averaged 1.44 kills per game and a .140 hitting percentage…recorded 11 kills to open the season against Northeastern and 10 kills the next match against Villanova…almost recorded a double-double against Northeastern with eight digs, her season high…tallied 11 kills with three errors on 19 total attacks for a .421 hitting percentage against Temple…averaged 0.59 digs per game and 0.41 blocks per game.
2004: Returned from redshirting her first year to start 19 matches and play in 31 matches on the season…recorded one of her best matches of the year against Yale, hitting .467 in the match with nine kills and 13 digs, both single-match highs…led UMBC over Hartford with seven kills and a .545 hitting percentage in the Retrievers three-game sweep…tallied 97 kills on the year and 99 digs…ranked fifth on the team with 37 total blocks.
2003: Redshirted due to preseason injury.
High School: Was an All-State selection in 2002...Earned All-Conference honors in 2000, 2001, and 2002...was named the Most Valuable Player at Glastonbury High School as a senior and was the team captain...also captained the Tomahawks’ softball team and was selected to play in the All-State All-Star game in 2003.
Personal: One of two children to Matt and Cyndi Hodson...born on November 30, 1984...younger sister Megan transferred in to UMBC after being at New Hampshire.
