High School:  Lettered three years at Kentwood High School, concluding her career with a sensational season in 2004…led her team to an eighth place finish in the 4A Washington State tournament, earning Prep Athlete of the Week from the King County Journal…during the state tournament she posted one of her best single-game performances, racking up 18 kills and four aces against the eventual state runner-up…earned Prep Athlete of the Week by the Seattle Post Intelligencer following the District Championships…honored as captain her senior year and finished the season second in kill percentage, fourth in aces and eighth in blocks en route to all-league first team honors and the third most votes for league MVP honors…named to the All-Area Team by the King County Journal as well…ranked second in kill percentage and ninth in kills per game as a junior, earning first team honors…played three years for KJ Volleyball Club and one year on Team Lokahi…earned all-tournament team honors at the Emerald City Classic in May 2004 and competed at the Junior Olympic National Tournament in Salt Lake City in July 2005.

 

Personal:  The younger of two girls to Mark and Sandy Hargrove…older sister’s name is Kimberly, who is the head coach of the junior varsity and assistant with the varsity team at her alma mater, Kentwood HS…born on March 30, 1987.
