In the Spring of 2005 UMBC hired Jennifer Beall as Assistant Volleyball Coach. Beall, who has risen from the High School ranks into her first collegiate position, has spent the past five years developing an impressive resume, including winning a Maryland State Volleyball Championship as Head Coach.

While at Glenelg, Beall also served as the Associate Head Coach for the Under-18 National Travel Team for the Timeout Volleyball Club. While organizing weekly practices and assisting student –athletes and parents in the collegiate recruiting process, Beall’s teams placed third in 2004 and fifth in 2003 in the USA Volleyball (USAV) National Championships.

Beall went on to play for the USAV Women’s Club team from 1999-2004 and DC Professional Women’s Volleyball Tour from 2002-2004.
Beall has worked a number of camps including
Beall has two brothers named Jeff and Jon Mills. Jon is a professional golfer on the PGA affiliate Nationwide Tour. Beall's parents currently reside in Brooklin, Ontario, Canada.
