Women's 4x100m Relay Breaks UMBC Record at First Day of Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA--The women's 4x100 relay team of junior Nicole Smalls (Prince Frederick, Md./Calvert/Morgan State), freshman Ashley Ajayi (Bowie, Md./Elizabeth Seton), sophomore Imani Colbert (Upper Marlboro, Md./C.H. Flowers) and senior Britney Foreman (Pasadena, Md./Chesapeake) broke the school record in a time of 47.40 at the first day of the Penn Relays in Philadelphia Thursday.
The women will now prepare for the America East Championships May 1-2 at New Hampshire.
