On the men’s side, senior Victor Gilreath (Catonsville, Md./Western Tech/Maryland) earned gold in the triple jump (14.84m) for the third consecutive week, and took home silver in the high jump (1.95m) as well. Senior Brian Pendleton (
Sophomore Aaron Brooks (Upper Marlboro, Md./Dematha) won the shot put with a throw of 15.56m, while freshmen Evan Palmer (Clifton Park, N.Y./Shenandoah) and Cameron McDearmon (Owings Mills, Md./Franklin) placed second in the discus (44.10m) and the hammer (46.54m), respectively.
The 4x100m relay team of seniors Justin Acker, Pendleton, Jason Powell (Bowie, Md./Eleanor Roosevelt) and Antonio Thomas (Columbia, Md./Long Reach) earned gold in a time of 42.00, while senior Camal Pugh (Clinton, Md./Oxon Hill) finished fifth in the 110-meter hurdles in a time of 14.73.
