2008-09: Did not compete due to injury.

2008 Cross Country: Placed 118th in the 6K run in 28:14.0 in the 6K run at the Salty Dog Invitational… Began the season with a 54th-place finish at the Mount St. Mary’s 5K Duals

2007 Outdoor: Finished 16th in the 5000-meter run at the America East Championships with a season-best time of 19:58.78... Also competed in the 3000 at the Bucknell Heptagonal, where she finished 25th in 11:50.26.

2006-07 Indoor: Saw competition in just one meet during the season... Ran the one-mile run at the Lafayette/Rider Invite, where she finished 25th with a time of 5:50.21.

2006 Cross Country: Scored for the Retrievers in all but one meet during the season… Was the fifth Retriever across the line at the conference championships, finishing the 5K course in 19:50.0, good for 54th place… Highest finish of the year came during her collegiate debut at the Mount St. Mary’s Dual 5K’s where she finished 22nd in a time of 21:50.6… Ran her best 6K time of the year at the William and Mary Tribe Open where she finished 31st in a time of 25:26.6.

Background: A varsity letterwinner at Francis Scott Key High School in Union Bridge, Md…. Earned the Eagle Award and MVP honors and was named All-County and All-Conference… Helped her team to a runner-up finish at the regional meet in 2006… Also finished third in the 1A/2A 3200-meter run in the 2006 Maryland State Championship… An honor roll student and a member of the National Honor Society who earned the Principal’s Award.

Personal: One of four daughters to Sean and Jane Leahy… Has three sisters, Kathy, 30, Megan, 17 and Mary Kate, 16… Father played semi-professional soccer… Majoring in financial economics… Born March 30, 1988.
