2008 Outdoor: Finished fifth in the 5000-meter run at the America East Championships… Placed 12th in the 5000-meter run at the ECAC Championships.

 

2007-08 Indoor: Was named to the 2007-08 America East Indoor Track and Field All-Academic Team… Finished third in the 5000-meter and fourth in the 1-mile runs at the America East Championships… Finished second in the 3000-meter run at the Penn State National Invitational… Placed second in the one mile run at the Terrapin Invitational… Finished first in the 3000-meter run at the Gulden Relays. 

2007 Outdoor: Earned bronze in the 5000-meter run at the America East Championships, running a 17:24.33… Also ran the 5000 at the ECAC Championships, where she finished ninth with a season-best time of 17:12.89… Finished 22nd in the championship heat of the 3000 at the Penn Relays with a time of 10:03.61, the second-fastest time in UMBC history… Also held the Retrievers’ top time for the 1500, running a 4:40.11 at the Bucknell Heptagonal, where she finished fourth.

 

2006-07 Indoor: Joined the Retrievers mid-season and competed in two meets… Finished eighth in the one-mile run at the GMU Invite with a time of 5:11.64… Also finished 33rd in the 3000-meter run at the New Balance Invite in 10:26.06… Held the Retrievers’ top times for both events.

 

At Saint Francis (Pa.):  Was part of the 2004 Northeast Conference Cross Country Championship team and 2006 NEC runner-up for cross country… Was the third fastest runner at the 2006 NCAA Mid-Atlantic Cross Country Regional Championships 6K in 23:00.0, helping the Red Flash to a 15th place finish… Was the fourth fastest runner on the team at the 2006 NEC Championships 5K, finishing 18th in 19:32.6… Finished sixth in the one-mile run at the 2006 Indoor NEC Championships… Also finished eighth in the 1500 and 5000 and was part of the third place 4 x 800m relay at the 2006 Outdoor NEC Championships… Best times at St. Francis were 5:09.22 (indoor mile), 4:50.52 (outdoor 1500), 18:20.48 (outdoor 5000), and 10:40.84 (outdoor 3000).

 

Background: A letterwinner in cross country and indoor and outdoor track and field at Toms River South H.S…. A two-year captain for the Indians who was named MVP of the cross country team for the 2002 and 2003 seasons and MVP of the indoor track and field team for the 2004 season… An All-County selection for Ocean County… Helped her team to a Group III South Sectional Championship in 2001, third place finish at the Group III Championships in 2000, and 13th place finish at the NJSIAA Meet of Champions in 2000… Finished fourth and 13th in the 3200-meter run at the Group IV South Sectional Outdoor Championships and Group IV Outdoor Championships in 2004, 13th in the 3200 at the Indoor Meet of Champions, sixth in the 1600 and 3200 at the Group III South Sectional Outdoor Championships, and 16th in the 3200 at the Group III Championships in 2003, eighth in the Group IV South Sectional Cross Country Championships in 2003, and 5th in the Group III South Sectional Cross Country Championships in 2001.
