Women's Tennis Dominates Singles Play, Defeats Liberty, 5-2
BALTIMORE- The UMBC women’s tennis team won its third consecutive match, winning five of six singles matches to defeat visiting
UMBC got over the .500 mark and improved to 6-5 on the campaign, while the Flames are playing a tough slate and fell to 1-8.
"As unhappy as I was with the doubles point getting away from us I was equally as happy with the way the women stepped up for the singles,” head coach Rob Hubbard said. “They showed a lot of character today."
