WOMEN’S TENNIS OPENS NEW FACILITY WITH 7-0 WIN OVER ALBANY

    Senior Aimee Lim and the Retrievers opened their new facility with a win on Sunday.

     Baltimore, Md. – The UMBC Women’s Tennis team won their fourth match in a row and ninth of their last 10 as they topped Albany, 7-0, at The UMBC Tennis Center.  After being displaced for nearly two years, the Retrievers Tennis team finally returned to their true home court as the Retrievers opened the new refurbished courts on Sunday. 

     

    Each of the Retrievers won in straight sets and all-three doubles teams collected win as well.  Alexandra Pedergnana won at the No. 1, senior Aimee Lim the No. 2, Adriana Fonseca the No. 3, Elizabeth Anderson at the No. 4, Pascaline Cette at the No. 5 and Idil Un  at the No. 6.
