Background: The 2006 New Jersey state girls champion... fought off four set points and overcame a stress fracture in her left foot to triumph, 7-6 (9-7), 6-4 and become Summit’s first state titlist... also won Union County title and was named the Player of the Year... also considered the Univ. of South Carolina, but selected UMBC because it “had a great atmosphere, a variety of majors and a welcoming tennis coach and team”... considering a major in English or Political Science and a career in law... enjoys writing poetry, the music of Sublime and Cocoa Pebbles... daughter of Mary Mungo... born June 3, 1989.
