She combined with graduate student Shalini Sahoo to win a crucial match in doubles and then clinched the victory for UMBC over Texas-San Antonio with a 6-1, 6-4 victory over Natalie Hand at No. 6 singles. In the 5-2 setback at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, she picked up one of two Retriever points with a singles victory and dropped only one game in doubles and singles victories at Texas-Pan American as the Retrievers blanked the Broncs, 7-0.

Stange-Jonsson has won six of her last seven singles matches to improve to 10-6 on the spring.
