2008-09: Finished 15th in the 1,650-yard freestyle at the Patriot Invitational… Highest finish of the year was second in the 1,000 free against Binghamton… Swam career-best times in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:09.35), 200 breast (2:31.57) and 400-yard individual medley (4:42.33) at the America East Championships… Named to the America East Honor Roll.
2007-08: Finished 12th in the 1650-yard freestyle, 24th in the 400 individual medley and 25th in the 500 free at the America East Championships… Finished seventh in the 1,650 free, 21st in the 400 IM and 25th in the 500 free at the GMU Patriot Invitational… Won the 500 free against Binghamton... Swam season-best times in the 500 free (5:16.88 split), 1,000 free (10:44.67) and 1,650 free (17:48.87) at the America East Championships and in the 400 IM (4:53.10) and 200 free (2:04.64) at the Patriot Invitational… Her times in the 500 free, 1,000 free and 1,650 free were also career bests.
2006-07: Finished third in the 500 freestyle and fourth in the 1,000 free, and was part of the second-place 400 free relay in her first collegiate meet against Rider… Was part of the winning 200 medley relay at Marist and finished 21st in the 1,650 free at the Patriot Invite… Won the 500 free and was second in the 200 individual medley against Binghamton… Swam a season best in the 500 free (5:19.85) against East Carolina, in the 1,000 free (10:58.87) against Rider, in the 1,650 free (18:39.20) at the Patriot Invite, in the 100 breast (1:12.57) against Towson, in the 200 breast (2:33.11) against Binghamton, in the 200 IM (2:18.44) against UNH/Wagner and in the 400 IM (4:56.70) at the America East Championships.
Background: Member of the 2003 Girls’ National High School Championship Team at The Bolles School, which has won 15 straight women’s state titles and has gone undefeated in dual meets for 15 years… Named All- Coast Third Team by the Florida Times Union as a junior and senior… Undefeated in 100-breast dual meet competition in her junior year and placed eighth at the state meet in the 100-breast as a senior and 11th as a junior… Named team co-captain as a senior… Has competed with Olympians Michael Phelps, Katie Hoff and Eric Vendt.
Personal: Daughter of Susan and Ron Johnson… Has an older brother, Brandon… Born Sept. 10, 1987… Majoring in pre-physical therapy and hopes to be an athletic trainer for a professional team or a physician’s assistant.
