2008-09: Finished eighth in the 50-yard freestyle, ninth in the 100 free and 15th in the 200 free at the America East Championships… Part of the school record-breaking 200 and 400 free relay teams that claimed silver and the school record-setting 200 medley relay that earned bronze at the conference meet… Finished 11th in the 50 free and 16th in the 200 free at the Patriot Invitational… Won the 100 free against Marist… Swam season-best times in the 50 free (24.24) and 200 free (1:55.25) at the America East Championships and in the 100 free (52.75) against Towson and Maryland… Her 50 free and 100 free times rank sixth and ninth, respectively, on UMBC’s all-time top-10 list.

 

Background: Attended New Smryna Beach High School in New Smyrna Beach, Fla,. where she finished seventh in the 100 freestyle and eighth in the 50 free at the Florida High School Swimming and Diving finals in 2007… Was a District champion in the 100 freestyle in 2007… named Athlete of the Week in 2007 by the Daytona Beach News Journal.
