2008-09: Finished fourth in the 200-yard backstroke, eighth in the 100 back and ninth in the 400-yard individual medley at the America East Championships… Part of school record-breaking 200 medley relay at the conference meet… Placed ninth in the 200 back and 12th in the 400 IM at the Patriot Invitational…Won the 200 back against Marist and Bucknell… Swam season-best times in the 100 back (58.56), 200 back (2:04.84) and 400 IM (4:33.36) at the America East Championships… Her 100 and 200 back times both rank seventh on UMBC’s all-time top-10 lists… Named to the America East Honor Roll.
Background: An All-Dade County qualifier her freshman, junior and senior seasons… Received the Coaches’ Award all four years at Ransom Everglades High School in Coconut Grove, Fla.
