2007-08: Was part of the school, America East Championship and University of Maine Wallace Pool record-setting 400-yard medley relay (3:49.11) and the school and pool record-setting 200 freestyle relay (1:36.18)… Also set a Wallace Pool record as she claimed gold in the 500 free (4:53.33) at the America East Championships, which was also an NCAA provisional qualifying time, and earned silver as part of the 400 and 800 free relays, bronze in the 200 free and finished fourth in the 100 free at the conference meet… Won the 200 and 500 freestyles, finished third in the 100 free, was ninth in the 100 backstroke, and was part of the second-place 200, 400 and 800 free and the third place 200 medley relays at the Patriot Invitational… Won the 200 free at five dual meets, the 100 free at three, and the 1000 free and 200 individual medley at one meet each during the season… Held UMBC’s fastest times of the season in the 200 and 500 freestyles… Swam season-best times in the 50 free (24.29), 200 free (1:51.14) and 500 free (4:53.33) at the America East Championships and in the 100 free (51.92) at the Patriot Invitational… Her 500 free time ranks second on the all-time top 10 list… Named to the America East All-Academic Team.

 

2006-07: Led off the America East Championship, school, and Boston University pool record-setting 400 freestyle (3:27.90) and 800 freestyle (7:30.14) relays and school record-setting gold-medal winning 400 medley relay (3:49.49) and silver-medal 200 free relay (1:36.22) at the America East Championships… Added her name to the 100 free school record three times in one day as she tied the record of 51.75 in the morning prelims of the 100 free, set a new record of 51.49 in the finals of the event, and led off the 400 free relay with a split of 51.06 to set a new school and Boston University pool record… Her 800 free relay lead-off split of 1:50.70 in the 200 free set a new school record as well… Won the 50 free at the conference championships in a new school record time of 23.67… Also finished second in the 100 free and 100 fly at the conference meet… Won the 100 free, placed second in the 50 free and 100 fly, placed fifth in the 100 back and was part of the winning 400 free, 400 medley, and 800 free and third place 200 free relays at the Patriot Invite… Won the 100 free at all but two dual meets, was first in the 50 free and 200 free at three meets, and claimed victory in the 200 back, 100 breast, and 100 fly at one meet each… Also swam on the winning 400 free relay at five dual meets, the 400 medley at one, and the 200 medley at one… Swam career bests in the 100 fly (56.79) which ranks fifth on the all-time top ten list and the 100 back (59.28) which ranks seventh… Named to the America East All-Academic Team and Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

 

2005-06: Named America East Most Outstanding Rookie after winning gold in the 50-free and silver in the 100-free and 100-fly at the America East Championships… Also anchored the winning 200-free relay, led off the winning 400-free relay and anchored the second-place 200- and 400-medley relays at AEC’s… The 400-free (3:28.45) and 200-medley (1:47.51) relays set new school records… Broke the school record in the 50-free twice in one day at the George Mason Invitational, swimming a 24.13 in the preliminaries and besting that with a 23.99 in the finals, winning the event… Anchored the winning 200-free relay (1:36.48) and led off the winning 800-free relay (7:34.75) at the GMU Invite which broke school records and led off the winning 400-free relay which set a meet and then-school mark (3:29.02)… Placed fifth in the 200-free and sixth in the 200-fly at ECAC’s… Won the 50-free in dual meets against East Carolina, Navy, Binghamton and Towson; the 100-free against Navy, Bucknell and Seton Hall; the 200-free against Seton Hall and Marist; the 500-free at Marist; the 1,000-free against Bucknell; the 100-back against Howard; and the 200-fly against Binghamton and Towson… Placed second in the 400-IM and swam on the winning 400-medley relay at Rider in the first meet of her collegiate career… In addition to her 50-free record, swam UMBC’s fastest 100-free (52.21) and 100-fly (57.64) times and second-fastest 200-free (1:54.51), 1000-free (10:23.40) and 200-fly (2:08.11) times of the season… Led off the winning 200-free relay and anchored the winning 200-medley relay against Howard… Swam on the winning 400-free relays at seven dual meets and the winning 400-medley relays twice… Named team co-Most Valuable Athlete… Selected to the America East Honor Roll… Won the Ocean Mile Swim in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., on New Year’s Day.

 

Background: A Grand Prix and Speedo Championship Series qualifier… Placed second in the 100-free and third in the 50-free at sectionals in the spring of 2005… Placed second at the Speedo Championship Series in the spring of 2005… A member of National Honor Society and a Scholastic All-American.
