2004-05: Took silver in the 200-IM and bronze in the 200-breast at the America East Championships…also placed sixth in the 200-free and swam on four relays at AEC’s…was named America East Swimmer of the Week two weeks in a row in February…won multiple events at five meets…took the 200-IM and 500-free against William and Mary in the first meet of the season…came back to win the 200-back and 200-free and swim on the winning 400-free relay team against Rider in the next meet…won both the 200-back and 200-breast and finished second in the 200-free at the quad meet against Binghamton, Seton Hall and Millersville…won the 200-IM and 200-back and anchored the first-place 400-medley relay against Marist…took the 200-free and 100-back and anchored the winning 400-medley relay against Johns Hopkins…also won the 100-breast at Howard and the 200-free at George Washington…won the 500-free and placed second in the 200-free and 200-IM at Towson…finished second among all female swimmers at the Ocean Mile Swim on New Year’s Day.
2003-04: Captured gold in the 200-IM and 100- and 200-free at the America East Championships to earn Women’s Swimmer of the Meet honors...set new school records in the 100-free (51.75), 200-free (1:51.26), 200-IM (2:04.47) and as part of the 400-medley relay team (3:31.29)...won the 200-IM and 100- and 200-free at the George Mason Invitational...won the 100- and 200-free in dual meets against East Carolina, Navy, Johns Hopkins, Old Dominion, George Washington and William and Mary...also took first in the 100-back against Binghamton, in the 1,000-free versus Mary Washington and in the 200-back against American, Towson and Marist.
Background: Qualified for the European Championships both in long course and short course in 2000 and 2001, and finished 13th in the 200-back in 2000…was also a top-three finisher at the Polish Championships in both the 100- and 200-back in 2000, 2001 and 2002…last name is pronounced STAN-iss-LAW-ska…daughter of Andrzei and Wanda Stanislawska…has a younger brother, Maciek…born June 29, 1983…majoring in geography and environmental science with a minor in German.
