2010-11: Named to the America East All-Conference Team after claiming gold in the 400-yard IM, silver in the 200-yard IM and bronze in the 200-yard butterfly at the America East Championships... Placed third in the 400 IM, fifth in the 500 free and sixth in the 200 fly at the Patriot Invitational... Swam the fastest 200 IM (2:02.87) and 400 IM (4:18.20) times in UMBC history at the conference meet... 200 fly (2:01.52) time at the America East Championships places fifth on the school's all-time list.

2009-10: Finished fifth in the 400-yard individual medley, eighth in the 200-yard butterfly and 12th in the 200 IM at the America East Championships… Placed fifth in the 400 IM, seventh in the 200 fly and 10th in the 500 free at the Patriot Invitational… Won the 200 IM against Drexel and Howard… Swam season-best times in the 200 fly (2:05.79), 200 IM (2:08.63) and the 400 IM (4:27.43) at the conference meet… Her 400 IM time ranks fifth on UMBC’s all-time top-10 list… Named to the America East Honor Roll.

Background: A member of the All-Washington Metropolitan Private School Swimming and Diving League First Team in 2007 and 2008… Named to the All-Montgomery County Second Team in 2007 and 2008. 

 

Personal: Daugther of Jim and Angie Kotonias… Has a younger brother, Nick… Mother was a member of Ohio State’s volleyball team… Majoring in sociology and anthropology… Born March 20, 1991.
