2009-10: Finished 12th in the 200-yard breaststroke and 14th in the 100 breast at the America East Championships… Also finished fourth in the 100 breast and fifth in the 200 breast at the Patriot Invitational… Highest finish during the dual meet season was second in the 100 breast against Rider and Drexel and Howard and in the 200 breast against Bucknell… Swam season-best times in the 100 breast (1:06.71) and 200 breast (2:24.65) at the Terrapin Cup Last Chance Meet… Named to the America East Honor Roll.

2008-09: Finshed seventh in the 100-yard breaststroke and was 12th in the 200 breast and 13th in the 200-yard individual medley at the America East Championships… Also finished third in the 200 breast and fourth in the 100 breast at the Patriot Invitational… Won the 100 breast against Marist… Swam career-best times in the 100 breast (1:06.08) and 200 IM (2:10.93) at the America East Championships and in the 200 breast (2:23.89) against Towson and Maryland… Her 100 and 200 breast times are eighth and ninth, respectively, on UMBC’s all-time top-10 lists... Named to the America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll. 

 

2007-08: Finished sixth in the 200-yard breaststroke and 100 butterfly and was ninth in the 100 breast at the America East Championships… Finished ninth in the 100 breast, 12th in the 200 breast and 100 fly 19th in the 200 IM and was part of the seventh-place 400 medley and ninth-place 200 medley relays at the GMU Patriot Invitational… Won the 100 fly against Binghamton... Swam season-best times in the 100 breast (1:07.78) and 200 IM (2:14.23) at the Patriot Invite, in the 100 fly (58.58) at the America East Championships and in the 200 breast (2:25.64) against Maryland… Her time in the 100 fly also ranks ninth on the all-time top 10 list.

 

Background: Named the MVP for the Loomis Chafee School in Windsor, Conn. in 2007… Also won the Coach’s Award and Founder’s League Award from 2005-07… Part of the Pelican team that won the New England Championships in 2007 and was part of the All-American 200 medley relay… Holds team records in the 100-meter breaststroke and 100-yard butterfly… Also lettered in water polo and was part of the New England Championship-winning teams in 2006 and 2007.
 
Personal: Youngest of three daughters to Mark and Sharon Johnston… Has two sisters, Charysse (26) and Ashley (25)… Majoring in biology and aspires to enter the field of pharmaceutical care and research… Born Oct. 20, 1989.
