BALTIMORE—UMBC head women’s soccer coach Alyssa Radu and the UMBC women’s soccer team will host an ID and Skills Clinic on May 2.

The clinic, which will take place at the UMBC Soccer Stadium from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., is for girls in grades 8-12 and will be run by UMBC coaches and players. It will include a training session, small- and full-sided playing and goalkeeper-specific training conducted by UMBC assistant coach Kerry Smith. Girls will be grouped by age and ability level.

“UMBC and the women’s soccer program have a lot to offer, and we are hoping that many players can come out for the day and meet current players, see our facilities and further their development,” Radu said. “The coaching staff is excited to work with local Maryland talent and even encourage participants to join us from around the country.”

The cost of the clinic is $75. Each participant will receive an exclusive UMBC Soccer t-shirt and a lunch, but should bring her own ball and water bottle.
