UMBC WOMEN'S SOCCER RECORDS SEASON'S FIRST VICTORY WITH 2-1 WIN OVER HOWARD

Sophomore forward Lauren Cunningham recorded both Retriever goals including the game winner in the 72nd minute to lead UMBC (1-2) over Howard in a women's soccer match at Greene Stadium. Cunningham scored the first goal thirteen minutes into the game only to have Howard's Tiffany Day tie the contest eight minutes later. Cunningham then sealed the Retriever victory as she scored, unassisted, to keep Howard (0-4) winless.
