Women’s Soccer Concludes Season with 3-1 Victory over Albany

BALTIMORE--Freshman forward Morgan Warrington (Magnolia, Del./St. Thomas Moore Prep) had a goal and an assist to lead the UMBC Women's Soccer Team (3-13-2, 2-6-0 AEC) to a 3-1 Senior Day victory over Albany (4-10-3, 1-7-0 AEC) on Sunday afternoon at UMBC Soccer Stadium.

Warrington got on the scoreboard herself in the 18th minute when after a long run up the left side, she made a sliding shot that slipped past Liguori to give UMBC a 2-0 lead.
That lead lasted until
UMBC finished off the scoring in the 85th minute when junior midfielder Kali Schwartz (Congers, N.Y./Clarkstown South) found a streaking Erin Johnson (
Bukowski had three saves for her second win of the season, while Liguori recorded eight saves.
UMBC held a 17-12 advantage on shots and an 8-7 advantage on corners.
