Women’s Soccer Travels to Richmond, North Carolina State This Weekend

BALTIMORE-The UMBC women’s soccer team (1-4-0) travel to Richmond (0-4-0) on Saturday, Sept. 14 at and to North CarolinaState (2-1-1) on Sunday, Sept. 15 at

On the Spiders: Richmond is 0-4-0 on the season following a tough 1-0 loss against James Madison on Sept. 9.Junior Jessie Wolfe has the only goal for the Spiders this season.Junior goalkeeper Kate Hudson has played every minute in net for the Spiders.Richmond is a member of the Atlantic 10 conference.
All-Time vs. the Spiders: The Retrievers defeated Richmond 3-2 in overtime at home on Sept. 4, 1996, in the only meeting between the two schools.
On the Wolfpack: North CarolinaState is 2-1-1 on the season following a tie against High Point on Sept. 8 in the High Point Invitational.Before facing the Retrievers, the Wolfpack face Old Dominion on Thursday, Sept. 13 in Raleigh, N.C.Junior Lindsay Vera leads the Wolfpack with four goals, while sophomore Chantalle Dugas and freshman Kara Baldy lead the team with three assists each.
