TRACY STALKER NAMED ASSISTANT WOMEN'S SOCCER COACH

8/12/2004

Tracy Stalker has been named Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach at UMBC.

Stalker served in the same capacity last season for the Retrievers, before returning to her alma mater, Syracuse University, to work as the Orange’s assistant women’s soccer coach for the past eight months. The former First Team NSCAA Scholar All American (2001) will assist Head Coach Michelle Salmon as the Retrievers look to pick up where they left off last season. UMBC opened the year at 0-5, but went 7-2-1 down the stretch and secured a spot in the America East Tournament.

The native of Marcellus, New York earned four letters for the Orange (1998-2002) and served as team captain for her 2001 senior campaign. Stalker was a Second Team All Big East selection as a junior in 2000, and also earned regional All American honors that year. She earned her B.S. degree in Dietetics in May of 2002, and earned Dean’s List honors in each of her eight semesters at Syracuse.
