#6 UMBC WILL TRAVEL TO #3 MAINE FOR FIRST ROUND OF WOMEN'S SOCCER AMERICA EAST TOURNAMENT

UMBC (4-4-1, 7-7-1) defeated Northeastern (5-4-0, 11-7-0), 1-0, Sunday to earn the No. 6 seed for the America East Conference Tournament. The Retrievers will travel to the No. 3 seed Maine (6-2-1, 12-3-1) for a first-round game Tuesday (November 4) at 1 p.m.
The Retrievers, who joined the America East Conference just earlier this year, were picked to finished ninth in the Coaches' Pre-Season poll, but upset the Huskies and New Hampshire late in the season to beat out Binghamton for the final spot.
