The UMBC women’s soccer team had the edge this windy afternoon as they beat Old Dominion by a score of 2-1 during a non-conference game at the UMBC Soccer Stadium. The Lady Monarchs tried to rally in the second half when they scored at 65:17. Sophomore Laura Beeman (Chalfont, PA/Central Bucks West) had a breakaway right down the center of the field to score the lone Monarch goal for the afternoon.
