Freshman forward Amanda DiCarlo (Ontario, Canada/St. Paul's) received America East Conference Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week honors for the week of October 6-12.
Despite not starting the game against league rival Albany on Wednesday, October 8, DiCarlo collected her first two collegiate goals to lead UMBC to a 3-0 victory over the Great Danes.
