Background: Did not play her first two seasons of collegiate soccer… A member of the Mount de Sales Academy women’s soccer team… Named the team’s Unsung Hero as a senior… Earned MVP honors as a junior with the Sailors… In 2008, scored against McDonogh High School, a team that had shutout every opponent to that point… Also lettered in lacrosse at Mount de Sales Academy, being named the team’s Unsung Hero during her senior campaign… Selected to the league’s all-star team as a lacrosse senior… A National Honor Society member… Daughter of Melinda and Glenn Welsh… Has a brother, Matthew… Born March 23, 1992… Plans to major in biology in hopes of becoming a physician’s assistant.
