Background: A three-time First-Team All-Conference honoree… An NSCAA adidas High School Scholar All-American in 2008… The 2007 Southern Maryland Athletic Conference Player of the Year… Also earned Second-Team All-State and team MVP that year… Led her club team, the McLean Freedom, to a regional and national championship in 2007 and to the Virginia State Cup title in 2008… A five-year member of the Maryland ODP team, which won the national championship in 2006… Also lettered in lacrosse in high school… An honor roll student and a member of the National Honor Society… Daughter of Cathy Jo and Richard Edgar… Has an older brother, Richard, who plays soccer at George Mason University and was a member of the U-17 National Team… Born Sept. 19, 1990… A biochemistry major who hopes to become a physician’s assistant.
