Leslie Wray Relieved of Duties as Head Women's Soccer Coach

Leslie Wray has been relieved as her duties as head coach of the UMBC women's soccer program, athletics director Tim Hall announced today.

Assistant coaches Steven Campbell and David Stockum are also no longer with the program.

The Retrievers finished the 2017 season with a record of 4-10-3, including a mark of 2-6-0 in America East play. UMBC did not reach the six-team league tournament for the second consecutive season.

Wray led UMBC to its lone NCAA Division I tournament appearance in 2013. She posted an overall record of 41-52-17 in six seasons.

A national search for a new leader of the program will take place later this fall.
