Junior Jen Dragoni scored two goals and added three assists as the women's lacrosse team (6-8, 5-1 NEC) defeated Central Connecticut (3-6, 1-5), 13-4 at Arute Field in New Britain, CT. UMBC jumped out to an 8-1 first half lead, Dragoni scored a pair of goals in the Retrievers' opening 7-0 run. UMBC held CCSU off the board until 6:51 remained in the first half. Lauren Traber, Kelly Fiorani, Lauren Hess, and Jenny Kasper each added a pair of goals for UMBC. Courtney Stringer made 6 saves, while allowing 4 Blue Devil goals. UMBC outshot Central, 31-16, and won 13 of 19 draws.
