WOMEN'S LACROSSE DOWNS ST. FRANCIS (PA), 25-5

    LORETTO, PA -- Sophomore Annie Davis scored four goals and Lauren
    Hess, Emily Sawyer, Lauren Traber
    and Kelly Fiorani netted three goals
    each to lead the UMBC women's lacrosse team to a 25-5 victory over Saint
    Francis on Thursday afternoon.

    Davis scored three of her game-high four goals in the first half to spot
    the Retrievers to a 16-2 lead at the intermission.

    Freshman Leslie Perreault led Saint Francis in scoring with three goals.
    Fellow freshmen Rachel Farrow and Christine Rutigliano each netted
    goals to round out the scoring for the Red Flash.

    UMBC (5-8, 4-1 NEC) outshot Saint Francis, 43-5. Red Flash sophomore
    goalkeeper Annie Sidorenko recorded 10 saves in the setback. Retrievers
    senior goalie Courtney Stringer did not record a save in the win for
    UMBC.
