Former UMBC Standout Kate Quick Joins Women’s Lacrosse Staff as Volunteer Assistant Coach

Quick, a two-time team captain, made 50 career starts for the Retrievers from 2007-10 and posted a 10.62 goals-against average and a .451 save percentage in more than 2,900 career minutes. She ranks fourth all-time at UMBC with 426 saves, and she also recorded 105 ground balls and 48 caused turnovers.
As a junior in 2009, Quick led the America East with a .483 save percentage and ranked second with 8.41 saves per game en route to First-Team All-Conference and team co-MVP honors. In addition, the
A two-time America East All-Academic Team selection, Quick graduated in May with a degree in psychology.
